FOREARMS
Single Arm Bottoms-up Kettlebell Clean
An explosive clean where you finish with the kettlebell inverted, bottom pointing up, balanced over your hand. Keeping it upright forces a fierce grip and precise forearm alignment, while the single load challenges your whole-body stability.
How to do it
- 1
Hold a kettlebell in one hand at your side.
- 2
Hinge slightly at the hips and swing the kettlebell back between your legs.
- 3
Snap your hips forward to drive the kettlebell up.
- 4
Catch it in the bottoms-up position, weight balanced directly over your hand and elbow.
- 5
Hold for a moment and squeeze the handle hard.
- 6
Let it tip and swing back down to the start, keeping your core braced and chest up.
