FOREARMS

Farmer's Carry

IntermediateBodyweight

A loaded carry that develops grip, core stability, and strength endurance across the whole body. Keeping the weights steady as you walk also reinforces good posture through the upper back and midsection.

How to do it

  1. 1

Stand between the two weights, feet about shoulder width apart.

  2. 2

Brace your core for a neutral spine.

  3. 3

Hinge your hips back, bend your knees slightly, and grip both handles with palms in.

  4. 4

Stand back up to full height.

  5. 5

Walk forward with short strides, hips stacked under your shoulders.

  6. 6

Keep going for the set distance or time.
