FOREARMS
Palms-Up Dumbbell Wrist Curl
This forearm isolation move trains the wrist flexors on the underside of your forearm. It's a straightforward way to build grip strength and add size, with the dumbbells letting each arm work independently.
How to do it
- 1
Kneel tall facing the long side of a bench.
- 2
Set your forearms on the bench, parallel to each other, wrists hanging off the far edge.
- 3
Have the dumbbells in your hands before getting set, or have a partner pass them over.
- 4
Grip underhand so your palms face up, and keeping your forearms flat, curl the weights by flexing your wrists.
- 5
Lower back down to the start.
