ADDUCTORS

Frog Stretch

BeginnerBodyweight

A deep hip-opening stretch that targets the inner thighs and adductors while easing tightness through the groin. Widening the knees and sinking the hips down builds hip mobility and range of motion. Especially helpful for anyone who does a lot of squatting or lunging.

How to do it

  1. 1

Kneel with your knees under your hips and lower legs behind you, toes pointing down.

  2. 2

Lower onto your forearms with your elbows under your shoulders.

  3. 3

    Keep your back flat throughout.

  4. 4

Slide your knees out wide, letting your hips sink toward the floor, and turn your toes out to match your knees.

  5. 5

Ease into the stretch and hold for the set duration, breathing slowly.
