TRX Hip Drop
A suspension-trainer drill that trains the obliques and lateral core through a side-bending motion. Dropping and lifting your hips against the TRX builds strength along the sides of your trunk and adds variety to standard core work.
How to do it
- 1
Stand in a staggered stance beside the TRX, right foot forward, leaning slightly away from the anchor.
- 2
Grip a single handle with both hands and hold it just above your head.
- 3
Keeping your arms overhead, drop your hips away from the anchor point.
- 4
Reverse the motion to return to the upright starting position.
- 5
Finish your reps, then switch sides and repeat.
