ABS

TRX Bodysaw

BeginnerTRX

The TRX Bodysaw extends a forearm plank into a sliding front-and-back motion using suspension straps. That added travel dramatically raises the demand on your abs and obliques while building core endurance. It's a smart pick when a static plank no longer challenges you.

How to do it

  1. 1

Lie face down with your forearms on the floor and elbows under your shoulders.

  2. 2

Place the tops of your feet in the TRX foot cradles, hanging just off the ground.

  3. 3

Lift your hips and knees to form a straight line from head to heels.

  4. 4

Shift your bodyweight forward so your shoulders travel ahead of your elbows.

  5. 5

Draw yourself back to the start under control, keeping the body rigid.

  6. 6

Repeat the sawing motion for your target reps.
