Stance Jack

BeginnerBodyweight

Stance Jack is a cardio-flavored twist on the jumping jack that adds a cross-body reach to fire up the core and legs. Alternating the touch pattern builds coordination and balance while keeping your heart rate up. A fun way to break up a conditioning circuit.

How to do it

  1. 1

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes turned slightly out, arms at your sides.

  2. 2

Bend your knees slightly and hop into the air.

  3. 3

As you land, drop into a shallow squat and touch one hand to the opposite foot.

  4. 4

    Spring back up to standing.

  5. 5

Land again in a shallow squat and touch your other hand to the opposite foot.

  6. 6

Keep alternating in a steady rhythm.
