Stability Ball Roll Out

AdvancedStability ball

A rollout done with your forearms on a stability ball, targeting the front abs and obliques. Rolling the ball away while stopping your back from arching demands real core strength and control. A challenging alternative to standard ab work.

How to do it

  1. 1

Kneel behind the ball with your forearms resting on it and the balls of your feet on the floor.

  2. 2

Brace the core and roll the ball forward by extending your arms, keeping forearms in contact.

  3. 3

Roll out only as far as you can control.

  4. 4

Pull the ball back in slowly while keeping tension in the core.

  5. 5

Keep a straight line from shoulders through hips to heels, back flat throughout.

  6. 6

You should feel the work through your core.
