Stability Ball Plank
Resting your legs on a stability ball while planking on your forearms forces a small army of stabilizer muscles to keep you from wobbling. That instability makes this an advanced core hold that also sharpens posture and balance. Keep a rigid line and don't let the ball drift.
How to do it
- 1
Place your forearms on the floor and rest your shins or feet on a stability ball.
- 2
Keep your shoulders stacked over your forearms.
- 3
Brace your core and lift into a straight line from heels to shoulders.
- 4
Resist any rocking of the ball by staying tight through the trunk.
- 5
Hold the position steady for the assigned time.
