Plank Jack

A plank with a cardio kick, where you jump the feet wide and back while holding the top position. It keeps the core loaded for stability while the shoulders and legs pitch in and your heart rate climbs. A quick way to blend core work with conditioning.

How to do it

    Set your hands under your shoulders and lift into a straight-line high plank with feet together.

  2. 2

    Bend the knees slightly and jump both feet out to the sides.

  3. 3

    Land softly on the balls of your feet to absorb the hop.

  4. 4

    Immediately jump the feet back together to the start.

  5. 5

    Keep the hips level and the core tight through every jump.
