Mini Loop Band Plank with Straight Leg Kickback

A plank combined with a banded straight-leg kickback, pairing core stability with glute work. The band resistance on the lift challenges your balance while building the glutes and lower back.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Set your hands under your shoulders in a high plank with a mini loop band around both ankles.

  2. 2

    Lift your hips and knees into a straight line from ankles to shoulders.

  3. 3

    Raise one heel toward the ceiling, keeping that leg straight, against the band's pull.

  4. 4

    Lower the leg back down under control.

  5. 5

    Repeat on the other side, keeping your hips square and core braced.
