ABS

L Sit

IntermediateBodyweight

A static hold on parallettes where you support your whole body and hold your legs straight out front. It demands strong abs to keep the L shape plus real shoulder and tricep strength to stay pressed up.

How to do it

  1. 1

Sit tall between the parallettes with knees bent and feet flat, the bars alongside your hips.

  2. 2

Grip the parallettes with bent elbows so your hands sit just outside your hips.

  3. 3

Straighten your elbows to lift your hips off the floor, pressing down to lengthen your neck away from your shoulders.

  4. 4

Keeping your hips under your shoulders, lift one foot then the other, then extend both legs out straight and point your toes.

  5. 5

Hold the L shape for the set time.
