Balance Trainer Slow Climbers

IntermediateStability ball

A slowed-down mountain-climber variation performed with hands on a BOSU trainer. Moving deliberately increases the time your core, shoulders, and hips spend under tension, and the dome adds a balance test. Good for controlled core stability rather than speed.

How to do it

  1. 1

Set up in a plank with the trainer platform-side up, hands on the platform handles.

  2. 2

Step one leg forward into a low lunge.

  3. 3

Jump and switch legs, landing in a low lunge with the other foot forward.

  4. 4

Keep alternating, moving slowly enough to hit full range each rep.

  5. 5

    Hold the core braced throughout.
