This move adds cross-body knee drives to a plank held on a BOSU, so your obliques work hard while the unstable base keeps the whole core firing. The combination targets the sides of your waist along with the abs and lower back. Expect a real stability challenge.

How to do it

    Place the balance trainer platform-side up and stand behind it.

  2. 2

    Grip the platform handles and step your feet back into a high plank.

  3. 3

    Keep your body rigid as you draw one knee in and across toward the opposite elbow.

  4. 4

    Return that foot to the start.

  5. 5

    Alternate knees with each rep while keeping your core braced and hips steady.
