TRX Hammer Pull
The TRX Hammer Pull is a bodyweight pull that works the shoulders using suspension straps. You control the difficulty just by adjusting how far you lean back from the anchor. Pulling with one arm at a time lets each side work independently, helping you find and fix strength differences.
How to do it
- 1
Stand facing the anchor, holding a TRX handle in each hand with elbows bent at your chest.
- 2
Lean back with arms extended so your bodyweight loads the straps.
- 3
Pull your chest back up toward the anchor, sliding one elbow past your torso.
- 4
Let the other arm extend out to the side at shoulder height as you pull.
- 5
Lower back down under control and repeat, alternating sides. Adjust your foot position to change the resistance.
