BACK
TRX Swimmer Pull
The TRX swimmer pull is a bodyweight move that isolates the back by keeping your arms straight as you pull yourself up. With the straps, the resistance eases as you near the top of the movement. Since your lean sets the load, you can adjust the challenge on the fly by shifting closer to or farther from the anchor.
How to do it
- 1
Stand holding the TRX handles with straight arms angled slightly out from your hips.
- 2
Fall backward under control, letting your straight arms take the load as the handles come together at shoulder height.
- 3
Keep your arms straight throughout the pull.
- 4
Return to the start under control and repeat for your reps.
- 5
Adjust your foot position relative to the anchor to set the resistance you want.
