TRX Hip Throw
The TRX hip throw trains rotation, working the core and obliques as you drive one arm across your body. Copying the motion of throwing a hip means your trunk generates and controls the twist. It's a strong choice for building rotational power for sport and functional training.
How to do it
- 1
Grip the TRX handles with straight arms and lean back, holding a straight line from shoulders to heels.
- 2
Bend one elbow to drive that fist across your body to the opposite shoulder, rotating your torso and hips in that direction.
- 3
Return to the start under control.
- 4
Repeat on the other side, alternating for your target reps.
- 5
Shift your stance relative to the anchor to adjust the resistance.
