Wall Triple Knee Drive

BeginnerBodyweight

The wall triple knee drive is a plyometric sprint drill where you lean into a wall and fire three rapid knee drives per rep. It trains explosive hip flexion, quad power and the kind of quick foot contacts that carry over to running. The wall support lets you focus purely on driving hard and fast.

How to do it

  1. 1

Stand facing a wall about an arm's length away.

  2. 2

Lean in and place both hands flat on the wall.

  3. 3

Rise onto the balls of your feet, lifting your heels.

  4. 4

Drive one knee up toward the wall, then quickly punch that foot back down.

  5. 5

Immediately drive the other knee up and repeat, alternating rapidly three times so you finish on the opposite leg.

  6. 6

Pause briefly, then start the next set of three.
