QUADS
TRX Pistol Squat
A single-leg squat that drops you down on one leg while the other extends forward. It's a demanding test of quad and glute strength plus balance, and the TRX straps provide just enough support to make it achievable. Working one leg at a time helps you find and fix strength differences between sides.
How to do it
- 1
Stand with feet together, elbows bent, holding the TRX handles at shoulder height.
- 2
Lift one foot out in front of you.
- 3
Bend the standing knee to lower into a squat, keeping the raised leg extended off the floor, until the working thigh reaches parallel.
- 4
Press back up to standing, using the straps for support.
- 5
Repeat on the other side.
