TRX Mountain Climbers

TRX mountain climbers put your feet in the suspension straps to crank up the instability of the classic drill. Fighting the swinging straps forces the core to work overtime while your knees pump toward your chest. It blends conditioning with serious core engagement.

How to do it

    Get on your hands and knees with your feet under the TRX anchor.

  2. 2

    With the straps about a foot or two off the floor, slip your feet into the cradles.

  3. 3

    Brace your core and lift into a plank, hands under your shoulders and a straight line from heels to shoulders.

  4. 4

    Keeping your lower legs level, drive one knee toward your chest.

  5. 5

    As that leg extends back, pull the other knee in and keep alternating.
