QUADS
TRX Ice Skater
A lateral bounding drill that mimics a speed skater's stride, driving your heart rate up while training the legs and glutes. Holding the TRX straps adds a stability assist so you can control each landing and focus on balance and agility. Good for athletic conditioning and reactive lower-body strength.
How to do it
- 1
Stand tall holding the TRX handles at shoulder height with your elbows bent.
- 2
Hop laterally to one side and land on that foot, bending your hip and knee into a lunge while the trailing leg stays lifted.
- 3
Push off that foot to bound back the other way, landing and sinking into a lunge on the opposite leg.
- 4
Keep the handles at shoulder height for support throughout.
- 5
Continue alternating for your target reps.
