TRX Curtsy Lunge

A curtsy lunge assisted by TRX straps, crossing one leg diagonally behind the other. The lateral angle recruits the glutes and inner thighs alongside the quads, and the straps help you stay balanced so you can move deeper and slower.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Grip the TRX handles with arms extended, palms in, facing the anchor with the straps taut.

  2. 2

    Sweep one leg diagonally behind the other so they cross.

  3. 3

    Keeping your front knee pointed forward, lower your back knee toward the floor with a braced core.

  4. 4

    Descend as deep as your spine stays neutral, using the straps for support only if needed.

  5. 5

    Return to standing and repeat on the other side.
