QUADS
Partner Back To Back Wall Sit
A wall sit done against a partner instead of a wall, where you both lean back into each other to hold a 90-degree squat. Pressing into one another supplies the support and adds a shared balance and coordination element. It's a fun way to build quad endurance and cooperation in a workout.
How to do it
- 1
Stand back to back with your partner.
- 2
Set your feet about shoulder-width apart and interlock your arms at the elbows.
- 3
Bend your knees and slowly walk your feet out, pressing your back into your partner's as they do the same.
- 4
Lower your hips until your ankles, knees, and hips all form 90-degree angles.
- 5
Hold by squeezing your quads and glutes, keeping your core tight and back flat, for the set duration.
- 6
When finished, keep leaning into each other for support as you walk your feet back under you and stand.
