Loop Band Squat to Shoulder Press

A squat-to-press combo powered by a loop band. It trains the legs, core, and shoulders together, with the band adding resistance to the overhead press, delivering an efficient full-body movement that also sharpens coordination and balance.

How to do it

    Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes turned out slightly.

  2. 2

    Pin the band under your midfoot and pull the loop up over your head to rest across the back of your shoulders.

  3. 3

    Grip the band and bring your hands to your shoulders, keeping it behind them, then brace and squat down with your knees over your toes.

  4. 4

    Drive up by squeezing your glutes and pushing your hips forward toward standing.

  5. 5

    As you reach the top, extend your arms and press the band overhead.

  6. 6

    Lower your hands back to your shoulders and repeat the full sequence.
