Balance Trainer Knee Up Squats
A single-leg-biased squat with one foot on a BOSU dome, finished by driving up into a knee lift and trunk rotation. The unstable base plus the twist recruits your quads hard while pulling your core into the movement. A more complex variation that trains strength, balance and rotational control together.
How to do it
- 1
Stand beside the balance trainer with your inside foot resting on top of the dome.
- 2
Lower into a biased squat, one foot on the floor and the other on the dome.
- 3
Drive up onto the dome leg, lifting your outside knee upward.
- 4
Rotate your trunk toward the lifting knee as you rise.
- 5
Finish your reps on one side, then switch to the other leg.
- 6
Keep your posture upright and your core braced throughout.
