HAMSTRINGS
TRX Hamstring Runner
The TRX hamstring runner is a dynamic posterior-chain exercise that looks like a face-up mountain climber. Alternating the heels in toward your torso while bridged trains the hamstrings and glutes along with core stability. It also adds a cardio element from the quick pace.
How to do it
- 1
Lie flat on your back and place your heels inside the TRX cradles with legs extended.
- 2
Lift your hips off the floor into a bridge.
- 3
Pull one heel in toward your torso while keeping your hips raised.
- 4
Extend that leg back out and immediately draw the other heel in.
- 5
Keep alternating in a running rhythm for the set time or reps.
