Balance Trainer Lateral Floor Toe Taps

An explosive side-to-side drill that combines a soft, unstable push-off with a quick floor tap. Driving off the balance trainer trains lower-leg power while the wobble recruits your stabilisers. Great for sharpening coordination and lateral quickness.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Stand beside the balance trainer with your inside foot resting on top of the dome.

  2. 2

    Push off that foot quickly and leap sideways across the dome.

  3. 3

    Land with your opposite foot on the dome while the trailing toe taps the floor.

  4. 4

    Bound back and forth over the top, alternating sides.

  5. 5

    Stay upright with a braced core through each rep.
