TRICEPS
PVC Tricep Stretch
This stretch uses a PVC pipe held behind the back to open up the triceps and shoulders more deeply than a standard stretch allows. It's a useful mobility drill for loosening the triceps and shoulders, whether warming up before pressing work or cooling down afterward.
How to do it
- 1
Stand with feet slightly wider than your shoulders and knees softly bent.
- 2
Hold a PVC pipe in front of you, gripping it near one end.
- 3
Bring the pipe behind you, aligning it with your spine, with that thumb pointing down.
- 4
Reach your other hand behind to grasp the low end of the pipe, palm facing away.
- 5
Pull the pipe downward with the bottom hand to stretch the top arm's triceps.
- 6
Hold the stretch, then switch hands and repeat on the other side.
