TRICEPS
Loop Band Single Arm Tricep Extension
A one-armed overhead extension using a loop band pinned under your feet. Training a single side at a time keeps your stronger arm from compensating, and the band's tension climbs as you push into the lockout, so the triceps work hardest where they're strongest.
How to do it
- 1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes angled slightly out.
- 2
Pin the band under the middle of both feet.
- 3
Grip the free end with one hand and bring it up overhead while bracing your core.
- 4
Bend the elbow to lower the band behind your head into the start position.
- 5
Exhale and straighten the arm, driving the band toward the ceiling.
- 6
Inhale and lower it back down slowly, then repeat on the other arm.
