CHEST

Single Arm Low Cable Crossover Fly

BeginnerCable

This single-arm low cable fly isolates the chest one side at a time, with the low-to-high path emphasizing the lower pecs. Working one arm at a time helps even out imbalances, and the cable keeps steady tension through the whole arc for a strong stretch and contraction.

How to do it

  1. 1

Set the pulley low and stand slightly in front of and to the side of the cable, feet about shoulder-width apart.

  2. 2

Grip the handle in one hand and let your arm start low and out to the side.

  3. 3

Drive from your chest to sweep the handle up and across the front of your body.

  4. 4

Squeeze and hold briefly at the top of the arc.

  5. 5

Let the handle return slowly while keeping tension on the chest, then finish your reps and switch sides.
