CHEST
Balance Trainer Incline Push Up
An incline push-up with hands on the platform side of a raised BOSU trainer. The incline shifts emphasis toward the lower chest while the unstable base makes your stabilizers and core work overtime. An advanced pressing variation that builds control along with strength.
How to do it
- 1
Set the balance trainer platform-side up, resting securely on one or two risers.
- 2
Get into an incline plank with your hands in the handle grips on the platform rim.
- 3
Bend your arms and lower your chest slowly toward the platform.
- 4
Press back up until your arms are straight and you're back in plank.
- 5
Keep your core braced and don't let your lower back arch.
- 6
Keep your elbows around 45 degrees from your torso, not flared wide.
