CHEST
Medicine Ball Push Up
A push-up variation with your hands stacked on a medicine ball to add instability. The wobble forces the chest, shoulders, and core to work harder to keep you balanced and controlled. It's a good way to raise the difficulty of your push-ups without any extra load.
How to do it
- 1
Set up in a push-up position with your hands on a medicine ball and arms straight under your shoulders.
- 2
Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels.
- 3
Bend your elbows to about 45 degrees and lower your chest toward the ball.
- 4
Gently touch your chest to the ball.
- 5
Press back up to the starting position.
- 6
Repeat for your reps, keeping your core tight to stay balanced.
