CHEST
Loop Band Standing Chest Press
A standing pressing movement that recreates the bench press with loop bands anchored behind you. The band adds resistance that grows as you extend, driving strong activation of the chest, shoulders, and triceps. Standing also brings your core and legs in to stabilize, making it a practical option for home training.
How to do it
- 1
Anchor two equal-resistance bands at about chest height.
- 2
Turn so your back faces the anchor.
- 3
Take one band in each hand.
- 4
Stagger your stance with one foot forward and brace your core for stability.
- 5
Lean slightly forward with your elbows pointing back and out and your hands at chest level.
- 6
Exhale and press both hands forward in front of your shoulders, then return under control and repeat.
