CHEST
Incline Tricep Push Up
This incline push-up keeps the elbows close to the body so the triceps take on more of the work, with the chest and shoulders assisting. The raised hands lighten the load, making it manageable while still hitting the back of the arms hard. A good pick for building triceps without weights.
How to do it
- 1
Place your hands on a bench or raised surface, just outside shoulder-width.
- 2
Straighten your body into a rigid line from shoulders to heels.
- 3
Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the bench, keeping the elbows tucked close to your sides.
- 4
Stop when your chest is near the surface.
- 5
Extend your arms to press back up, holding the straight-body position throughout, and repeat.
