CHEST
Handle Band Pec Fly
A chest fly using handled resistance bands anchored overhead. Bands let you fine-tune the angle of pull and add resistance as you close the movement, so the load builds toward the end rather than straining the shoulders at the start. A joint-friendly way to isolate the chest and front delts.
How to do it
- 1
Anchor a resistance band around a pull-up bar or high fixed point.
- 2
Stand facing away from the anchor in a staggered stance, gripping a handle in each hand with your arms out to the sides at shoulder level, palms forward.
- 3
Lean your torso slightly forward.
- 4
Keeping your arms extended with a soft bend in the elbows, sweep the handles down and together to about belly-button height.
- 5
Return to the starting position under control and repeat.
