CHEST
Chest Doorway Stretch
A flexibility stretch that uses a doorway as an anchor to open up the chest and front of the shoulders. Leaning through the frame lets you control exactly how deep you go. It's great for undoing the tightness that builds from pressing work or long hours hunched at a desk, and it helps restore better posture.
How to do it
- 1
Stand in a doorway with one foot ahead of the other and grip the frame on both sides.
- 2
Step forward, letting your chest and torso move ahead of your hands until you feel a comfortable stretch across the chest.
- 3
Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds without forcing it.
- 4
Ease off and repeat as needed, adjusting your hand height to target different parts of the chest.
