Balance Trainer Spiderman Push Up

This move fuses a push-up with a spiderman knee drive on top of a balance trainer. It works the chest and triceps while the unstable dome and the knee tuck pull heavily on the core. It's a good way to turn push-ups into a fuller-body, more athletic exercise.

How to do it

    Set up in a plank with your hands on the balance trainer, platform side up.

  2. 2

    Bend your arms to lower your chest toward the dome, then press back up to straight arms.

  3. 3

    Pull one knee up toward the shoulder on the same side, pointing the knee outward.

  4. 4

    Return the foot, do another push-up, then drive the opposite knee up.

  5. 5

    Keep your core braced throughout so your low back stays flat and doesn't arch.
