ABDUCTORS
Foam Roll Hip Abductors
A recovery drill that rolls out the hip abductors along the outside of the thigh. Working the roller over this area helps release tension and smooth out tight, knotted tissue. Good for restoring flexibility and easing recovery after hard lower body sessions.
How to do it
- 1
Lie on your side with the outer part of your hip on the foam roller, propping yourself on the forearm beneath your shoulder.
- 2
Lift the top leg up and over the bottom leg to plant that foot for support.
- 3
Roll slowly along the outside of your hip and upper thigh, searching for tender areas.
- 4
Pause on any tight spot and hold pressure until it eases.
- 5
Keep rolling until the tension releases, then switch to the other side.
