LOWER BACK

Bridge Walk

IntermediateBodyweight

The bridge walk challenges you to travel while holding a full bridge, taking small steps with your hands and feet. Moving in this arched position tests your coordination and keeps constant tension on the glutes and core. It is a demanding drill for control and muscular endurance.

How to do it

  1. 1

Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.

  2. 2

Place your hands by your ears with fingers pointing toward your shoulders.

  3. 3

Press through your hands and feet to drive your hips up into a bridge.

  4. 4

Adjust your hands and feet to find a stable position and brace your core.

  5. 5

Walk toward your head, stepping your hands and feet in small increments.

  6. 6

Moving all four limbs forward counts as one repetition.
